We had a great time as always. We stayed in a little cozy hotel with the kindest doorman! We called him Ulrich (I wish I had taken a picture of him!). The first thing we did when we arrived was have a drink on the market place. The weather was fantastic!
We sat right in front of the Tyn Church. As we were enjoying our drink a big crowd gathered in front of it and some kind of daily ritual took place with a moving bird and a trompet player. Talk about perfect timing!
Next was Prague Castle and the Old Royal Palace.
To climb the tower and have a view from above we had to climb 172 stairs! We were exhausted but is was worth it.
We also visited The Golden Lane. Dating from the 15th Century, Golden Lane is lined with 11 historic houses and has a beautiful, olden world quaintness about it. Inside the houses, period scenes have been created showing the life of the artisans who once worked, ate, drank and slept in them.
We had dinner in one of the most famous restaurants of Prague, Kampa Park Reastaurant. A lot of celebrities go there when visiting Prague. The food was AMAZING! Without a doubt the best restaurant I have ever been to.
I couldn’t resist taking a picture of our dessert 😉
Mine was Yoghurt parfait with truffle honey, apple terrine and crème Chantilly.
Jonas had Strawberry cappuccino with vanilla ice cream, walnuts, meringue, and forest berries skewer.
Great trip! Highly recommended 🙂
